I Leased a home, one week before moving in landlord informed me home is no longer available - What can I do? - boise property management companies

I signed a lease for a year to pay the deposit of a management company in Boise, Idaho. A week before the trip told me the owner no longer wanted to rent the house and had given the family. What can I do, right?

Start with the will is clear, the owners do not rent out your house.

Technically, you could probably sue for breach of contract. Many contracts have a clause if the owner can not, for whatever reason, the transfer of property within five days, you shared the rent. An example would be if he had been working on some repairs and could not do it in time.

At least you are entitled to have their deposit refunded. I want to speak with a lawyer, even if no legal aid in your area. I hope you have the agreement or a copy.

like somehow you have signed a contract.
be sure to check the contract VERY well to avoid stupid.

We can say in small print that it reserves the right to cancel the contract within 5 days of rental.

Whatever your right to your deposit.
If you move, can not see that happening

Sue for damages. You have the right to possession during the rental period. As you can not "change his mind," they can not.
