SmartGlass tell you when or Privacy Glass, I think 2 different things.
Smart Glass, was someone selling shares in EU-IG with a particular type of coating. I'm pretty sure it Pilkington. Gentex supplies window of the airplane 787th Research Frontiers (SPD) / Beech on a different level (King Air?).
All listed companies are public announcements about them. I have some of these technologies. Gentex was an aircraft / display window at the annual meeting last year.
Privacy glass-3M is a liquid crystal. I am sure that you buy at Lowe's or Home Depot. are special orders and $ $ $. I also saw this window. Very effective. I think there are other systems in the polymer dispersed liquid crystals there. You have not seen one of them. a Google search for the above

* Side note: SPD is the product not made by ReFr. There are several licensees of this technology. I think that reporters show the actual manufacturer of airplane windows.
